Why do you want to force us to do something we do not want to do?  It seems like this is geared more at breaking up country team play.

Don't forget about us players and the reason why we like to play.

the idea of disolving all three countries is awesome. very intresting.

switching countries every tour (whole squad) is awesome. i think this would add some flavour. changing he number of squad members from 32 to 50 would be kewl too. maybe some set ranks or titles one could hold within a squad like wing commander or training instructor.

i also like the 4 country idea sounds kewl. how would ya handle resets though? maybe once a country destroys another they absorb their numbers to speed the reset or something. :)

ditto irons idea.

This plan is not invasive, squads could reform, numbers would immediately be evened out.  Whats the problem with implementing this?

I don't like it.   We just reformed our squad and I would not like to have my newly reformed squad disbanded or seperated.     My .02

I know he's not seriously thinking about it, bu tthat doesnt mean we cant like it and discuss it. Besides, if likelihood of happening wsa supposed to influence these posts, we'd ever hear a "perk the La" whine again -- and we all know how unlikely that is LOL

So Kak3, do you log off everytime a Damned member shows up in knight land?  I mean you do fly on the same side as us don't you? or is someone from the Damned slipping you greenbacks under the table?

Mud makes a joking comment to Soup and you throw in your bad sentiments because you have bad feelings toward a certian squad.  nice stab to make at a group while throwing in your comments on this thread. glad to know you have come to not care or have respect for us, we openly now know your feelings and how to deal with them accordingly, does the rest of the MAW feel the same way? or just you because you was not accepted or invited to be Damned, when you was wanting in the squad?

all in all, crap comments like yours is what makes certian squads move from 1 country to another because they can not get along with each other, crap like this is part of the problem of being lopsided numbers.  If the mouth types wouldn't insult, badmouth or flame others, then maybe certian squads would have stayed where they were, all be it Bish or Knight and this imbalance may not have took place as it so certianly has?  think about it. I recall quiet a few squads moving to Rook because some  mouthy crab went and exercised his ill fated free speech and slammed them, so they moved to another country.
As for slamming your own country men or putting them down,  bravo Kak3, ,  outstanding tact on your part,  I knew you could do it!

this btw is not directed at any Maw's just to Kak3 directly! the Maws are an outstanding group of flyers

It would be interesting to study the dynamics of this question. Why do some become rooks, knights or bishops. Why do people feel such a strong alliegance to one of an arbituarily named side? As a people, this says alot doesn't it?

I'm not saying this instict is bad.. the community and it's alliegances have facinated me.

I'm not so sure that folks are hung up on the country name per se.  It is the people and such in the country that you fly with.

Cz FOREVAH!!

Just kiddin--I stay Knit 'cause of squad affiliation and also-- there becomes a certain comfort level and familiarity with those playing around you--for instance, if Getsome or his son or one of the regular morning guys and I are headed somewhere, I know my back is covered even if we aren't squaddies. I know their competence and their style of play.

I like the country jumpers too--when I see an Urchin or Topgunz or Morph in green it is kinda fun to have 'em on my side for a change.

Besides, if we DID change sides, our 65 man squad would do nothing more than screw up the balance anyway.

gentlemen:
I said this would by a slippery road to go down........once you start something like this ...where does it end????? The one thing I learned in college was the KISS principle.......KEEP IT SIMPLE STUPID.
I sincerely believe there is enouph mature gamemanship to take care of the game.
I couldn't fly a B17 the other night.......wasn't good for my game.....and my respected enemies were denied a favorite target..not good for their game either.
