Kerry Camp: Ban "Unfit For Command" Book
« on: August 20, 2004, 11:03:09 AM »
The Kerry campaign calls on a publisher to 'withdraw book' written by group of veterans, claiming veterans are lying about Kerry's service in Vietnam and operating as a front organization for Bush. Kerry campaign has told Salon.com that the publisher of UNFIT FOR COMMAND is 'retailing a hoax'... 'No publisher should want to be selling books with proven falsehoods in them,' Kerry campaign spokesman Chad Clanton tells the online mag.

Does this mean Bush should call on Moore to withdraw F911?

What a joke.

No, it means KERRY should call on Moore to withdraw 9/11. Consistency, you know.  ;)

Why doesn’t Kerry just sue them?

Clearly he can prove "damages" if the book is proven to be full of malicious lies.

His VP probably knows a good trial lawyer.

The defense would probably like a shot at showing that Kerry was / is a liar.

Those clips are why Kerry should distance himself from his "vote for me, I'm the VN war hero" campaign approach.

You'll be hearing that stuff on TV ads in October otherwise. In fact, it might be too late.

Hilarious.  Can you imagine if Bush tried to do the same with Moore or moveon.org?  They'd be jumping through their tulips crying foul.

Hey GScholz, you guys get the ads on Norwegian TV?  Do they show that stuff on CNN?

If so, let me offer my apologies for having to endure that crap.  It's bad enough we do.
