Honestly... even if the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth were GOP shills, do you think they'd write an Op-Ed piece admitting to it?

I'm not about to go down a road that a million threads in here already tred. No matter what I answer, I'll have a dozen folks on either side jumping in shortly to rant and rave.

ok ill jump out of cover first. i dont think they are gop shill. i think they hate his guts for what he did after coming home from vn and it boils their blood to see him playing it the other way now because thats whats better politically. all the medals questions i dont care about that. sometimes medals get awarded when they shouldnt its going to happen sometimes always has always will. especially the "lower" medals. but if they are shills and theres 250 of em and the majority of vn veteran dont care about winter soldier then why havent kerrys guys come up with their own 250? and if you look back in time kerry was gunning for bush based on military records over a year ago. and what moveon.org and bringing america together did to bush was far more insulting and low but when that happened when bush = hitler and called stupid and called a coward where was kerry demanding the high road then? where is the press now? press couldnt stop mentioning baseless accusation about bush and ng. swifties held their first press conf in dc and no one showed up. kerry missing for his reserve duty after vn. wheres press looking into this? kerrys team wants to have cake and eat it too. thats my opinion.

I dislike kerry for making the pows go thru more torture,and dissing the rest of us.

I care about the medals thing and cambodia because it goes to the question of CHARACTER, and that is the only reason.

I cant believe the left knows what character means anymore.Even here they say kerry is a hero,while saying 250 swifties are lying. 250 ,and now many more than that, and they all are lying , not an ounce of truth in them.

They are going to vote in a wishie,washie, person as president, that thinks nothing of lying ,and has no character at all. And whos going to pay for it ...My son and the rest of the military. Well we were stabbed in the back in vietnam by demos , this will be the second time they will do it , I hope the third time will end it.

What I can't understand is the mindset that Kerry's protests caused men harm and injury in VN. It's a pretty widely accepted fact anti-war protests led to withdrawal of US troops and an end to the war.

My goodness RPM, you know better than that. How many times do I have to repeat what General Giap said in interveiws and wrote. .. He said if it was not for the American protesters and those in goverment that protested the war ,they would have sued for peace several times . That was one of the reasons for tet. N.V. was afriad of the VC remaining a strong force after the war. Tet was mostly a VC attack designed to greaty hurt the VC numbers wise,
So after they signed a piece treaty the N.V. goverment would not have to worry about them. Even the V.C. Commander said this was the reason for tet., and agreed to attack for the good of Vietnam.

Look it up rpm it is very interesting. They were going to sue after tet. , but people like walter cronckite turn a huge victory into a loss . General Giap said ...a country that would do that had already lost.

What about colonel day who was a pow longer than mc cain. He has now said he and the other pows were tortured more because of what kerry said.As they tortured them they played kerrys testimony. Now many more pows are weighing in.

Are these guys lying to?
