Oh, is that what that is.  I just thought my targets where spinning  Does a warp usually follow the flopping?  I can't remember seeing a plane flop around like that and then warp anywhere.  They make great targets while there flopping like that.  Seems to me that with the nature of the internet, it would'nt really matter if they stirred.  If you kill them on ur front end while their flopping around, ur fe should send a message to the server saying u killed the flopper    Doesnt make a whole lot of sense to me.  
    As far as the alt f4 thing...I know that my connect has been getting steadily worse..I"m generally booted 3 or 4 times every hour now....cant help but wonder how many players I've pissed off by getting booted.  Thankfully, I dont find myself saddled up on too often    Prolly cause I'm likely warpin all over the place

Ackstaring will allway be here.At this point in time its not even an issue.It started 11 years ago in AW DOS,Do you really think that all of a sudden its going to stop? One the FW190 is out,Who cares about ackstars..Just another target

As for stickstirring,let em. Back off throttle and the will cross threw you gun sights more than 5 or 6 times.. Easy meat if you really want em.

All of the above has been happening since the 1st online fighter sim came out.

It will allways be,live with it.Time to kill this useless thread here & now..

ok it seems to me that the ability to totaly stop a field capture no matter how many or how skilled the pilots with one 5 yearold in a 17 respawning as often as nessisary is a important issue. and a resolvable one . i respectfully submit you were incorrect and impolite.

People, don't forget not everyone who disappears is using alt f4. Since version .36 came out, I have started to suffer from the CH ForceFx 'memory leak', which causes me to lock up after almost exactly 1hr of gameplay. And it usally happens when I have multiple kills to land it seems  . I do realize some people do it, but don't go on a hunt unless you sure about that! If you see a P51 suddenly disappear on you in the heat of battle, it's probably me locking up! Don't worry, I come back to give you another shot most of the time

Here's a fresh one.

P51 bounced me with some 3k alt advantage. I fought this pilot before and in almost same situation. So, I kind of recognized his style. Also, I saw his name on roster and I knew where I might find him.

After two passes our E levels were even, and now he extended. Nevertheless, I gained slowly on him. When I got within d10, he dove. I could not follow with my 109, so I lagged a bit. Again, I was now catching up, and he was lower.

The chase lasted for 10 minutes, and ended at very low level, some 1.8k distance. He flew for his field or friendlies, but none was near.

All of the sudden - poof !!! He vanishes out of my gunsight. At first I though he crashed, but no way, he flew for almost 10 minutes low level, obvioulsy under auto trim.

I checked roster. The suspect was not on the list. I check after 3 minutes, and there is he, with 487th sticking proudly behind his name.

Not to mention, he never responded to me on open channel.

2nd: What a coincidence to be discoed after 10 minutes tree top chase, when he had to turn 90 degrees to head to his base, when 109 was 1.8k behind and waiting for that turn, when 109 took course to lead turn him and keep more energy then him, when fuel question was becoming important, when there were no friendlies to help....what an incredible coincidence

3rd: He never replied on open channel, not when I was trying to make him turn, not after he returned and fellow player asked him about the disco.

No, Newt, I don't buy it. At least he should have told something after he rejoined. Then I would feel bad of accusing him.

Right now without plane debris it is allomost impossible to tell if a plane augers or ALT F4s,Ive chased a few plane that have flown near our ACK & the plane just dissapears.. Same with low level fights & chases..Did he try to ditch & he augered? Or did he ALT F4 out?.. Till we get smoke for oil & fuel leaks & debris floating around after a kill,Plane will just keep dissapearing.

Once scoring is setup properly,you will get the kill for anyone that ALT F4s out if you have hits on him..

But for now,theres plenty of targets that wont ALT F4.. If ya see a pair of hi p51s just come over & play with them  

Most likely be Me & Voss.. and we stay around till the end..

How about a new disco approach then ?

Let's say you fight a guy and he discoes in the middle of the dogfight. But his plane should not just dissapear, only the pilot would be removed from the plane by some unknown alien force   The plane would continue to fly with no control, until it hits the ground or gets shot down. At least a manuever kill would be guaranteed.

How about it ? It might lead to some funny looking fights, IMO

...and so will I. I'm too hard-headed to 'alt F4' during any fight. I'll ditch in heartbeat if I'm wounded and beatup, but I'll never 'alt f4'.

Plus, I'm very familiar with dying in AW, WB, CK, AH, etc. Nothing new for me.
