Camaros are allright....Mustangs are girl cars though. Maybe they'll make a '68 Charger next. I can dream anyway

Had a 68 RT charger... Loved that car. Had a 67 too. I thinnk the new camaro's will be kit cars and like a glass 32 ford.. they will be registered as the year they ressemble.

These bodies look flawless. I really like the 69 the best but you are right.. the 69 firebird is pretty bad... still.. the 67 and 68 firebird are kinda bad too. All that useless wieight on the nose.

Had a 69 Road Runner. Loved that car as well. Those late 60's Dodge engines had, what I consider, the best street sound of any engines ever built.

These should be interesting though. Considering they were originally frameless cars (sort of), it will be a challenge to make them actually look original.

So these will require a full tube frame? If that's the case, it makes it more apealing since an IRS is now a serious option.

And lazs... I like the 68 better than the 67 because of the side marker lights. I always liked the 68 best of that bodystyle. I like the 69 the very least because of the additional lines on the sides. I always thought that looked tacky.

I used to smoke and the wind wings were essential, I like the 69 body lines especialy in the tail.. they break up the slab sidedness of the 67 68

Eh? You mean cars have to fulfill only the late '60s regulations instead of modern anti-smog ones ?
I wish we'd have similar laws... If you'd build similar kit-car in here you would have to pay vehicle-tax and car would have to fit in norms used for new, modern cars; i.e. car would need catalysator & all.

Well with vehicles like the new Ford Mustang and the Chrysler 300C, it looks like there's also some hope for new cars as well.

GM doesn't seem to get the idea yet, but then they have a long and famous tradition of discontinuing their cars as soon as they get them "right" (the '94-96 Impala SS being a prime example). GM seems to be sinking under its own weight of too many redundant uninspired models.

yes staga... the cars are registered as the year they most resemble and do not have to meet any smog laws. There really is no point anyway since the old smog devices from the sixties and seventies made things worse not better so far as emissions. and...

the nmumber of klit and old cars is very low in the U.S and is not a significant contributor to smog... no where near as much as say... leaf blowers.
