Good post rpm.. ;)

So you agree it clear Bush then?  Thats what the article is saying.

It showed the unit joined a "24-hour active alert mission to safeguard against surprise attack" in the southern United States beginning on Oct. 6, 1972, a mission for which Bush was not present, according to his pay records.

Bush's lone service in October was outside Texas, presumably with an Alabama unit he had permission to train with in September, October and November 1972

Wow - that Washinton Post artical reads very differently than the original artical that reported this first.

Leaving out an aweful lot of "favorable to Bush" info there.

Pre-emptive post :D

Before any of you lefties say "He wasn’t flying because he refused to take his required physical, rendering himself unfit to fly and perform his duty of protecting this nation" let me just say that he was reassigned to Alabama where he was going to have desk duty. if you don't fly you don't need to have a flight physical.

sort of, blame the source when they deserve blame would be more accurate... Make up stories to support a personal agenda as a reporter is considered very bad in the newspaper business, ask the NYT and they would agree with that!

Kappa be careful dude, we are rigging your office building with explosives. We will set them off after we crash giant airliners into the nearby buildings - so you should have some time to get away - just be careful of the debris from the other buildings..

Make sure you post again tommorow so we know you are safe, OK?

In the new ad, retired lieutenant colonel Robert Mintz says he "heard George W. Bush get up there and say, 'I served in the 187th Air National Guard in Montgomery, Alabama.'

"I said, 'Really? That was my unit. And I don't remember seeing you there,' " Mintz says. "So I called my friends and said, 'Did you know that George Bush served in our unit?' And everyone said, 'No, I never saw him there.' It would be impossible to be unseen in a unit of that size."
