i appreciate your flack skills are great.

you shoot down more planes than anyone else in a flack.

but it sucks that there is no way to kill you, as you always park on a runway and hit the tower when a bomb is dropped on you.

doesnt it get a bit boring?

this isnt a flame, i like zazen, just wondering what fun there is in never being able to die.

if someone kills me, i tend to come looking for revenge, with you there is no point, it does kinda suck.

anyhow, keep having fun :)

I die alot in Ostwind, check my stats, the vast majority of my deaths EVERY camp are in the Ostwind. I'm not infallable contrary to popular myth. As cooley noted near the end of last camp he had 3 kills on me in Ostwind to my 1 kill of him. I die alot to carpet bombers especially as it is hard to tell where the eggs are going to fall. I do not find it boring at all, I can single-handedly prevent a Rook base from being vulched and/or porked by a far superior number of enemy. That is a very rewarding feeling.

In AH it is rare indeed that a single individual can have such a great impact upon so many enemy, especially now that HQ is harder. ;) I agree that if there were alot of people that could even come close to reproducing my results in the Ostwind it would perhaps be detrimental to overall gameplay. But, the fact remains I have a singular talent that so far as I know has no peer. This is spite of the fact that I have made all of my techniques, hints and tricks public domain on this very forum.:D

I'm sure if enough of you piss and moan to HiTech about me, he will perk me or find some other way to prevent me from having such an 'un-balancing' effect on the MA.

lol

fair enough.

guess im just mad at losing 3-4 kill sorties to you more than once and none of them from being a vulcher, and more importantly, not being able to get you back.

seems the first time you hit me from 1.6k

and the second was 2.0k!

great shooting

bastage

Yea, my brain is an aiming computer. I play pool semi-professionally. The angles of deflection in pool are mentally the exact same as in gunnery. I find that the more I play AH the better my pool game Conversely, the more pool I play the better my gunnery in AH. I think I just owe my uncanny aim to a highly developed sense of deflection. Interestingly, this was the case in WW1 & WW2. The best fighter pilots were those from rural areas that hunted fast moving prey growing up, they had superior gunnery. These people also had a highly developed sense of deflection.

I'll stop killing you the exact same instant you refrain from vulching, semi-vulching and porking Rook bases. Agreed? ;)

hahaha

so engaging in a low alt dogfight around an enemy base is considered vulching?

madness.

as i said, i was not vulching either time you got me today.

i wasnt even in range of the base ack :)

only in range of the zaz-ack.

i feel no pleasure from vulching and will only do so when there are no other planes to kill in the sector

Coming from a base to an enemy base to prey upon cons that have just taken off is the definition of 'semi-vulching'. Yes they have their wheels up, but you are guarenteed to have a vastly superior E state. If you want to do that without eating my 37mm you'd best drag them at least 3k from the field. ;)

LOL BF.

This is like asking someone.

Why do you have to move out of the way when im about to hit you with a speeding truck?

Ummm. If you see a bomb, hear a bomb, its bound to be a bomb, which can only tell you one thing. Its probably going to kill me if I stay here.

That is untrue. I always make an effort to keep my time in Fighter roughly equal to my time in the Ostwind by camp's end. Last camp for example I spent 33 Hours in a fighter compared to 30 hours in an Ostwind. I had 42 deaths in that 30 hours in the Ostwind, compared to 9 deaths total in 33 hours in a fighter.
