Howdy Guys,
Feeling quite disenfranchised

with both the domestic and foreign servers That Dare Not Speak It's Name, I've sortied around the internet this week looking for alternatives. Aces High was first on my list, and I found a copy of the original software here:
http://www.3dgamers.com/games/aceshigh/Ah, two weeks free, eh! Yeah, man, try it!. Once around offline, ah, yes, nice. Goofy shrinking notebook interface, but otherwise nice. Then Online.... version not supported. ~sigh~
So I visit HTC site, download and install AH2. Um... it won't work, Nada. So I visit the forum to find the FAQs and helps. Hmmm... looks like I'm not alone. Bummer.

Anyways, I've spent a couple of hours reading the board here, and it's like 1999/2000 all over again. So much strife in the community. I don't recognize any of the player names, but the content of the posts sure feels familiar. A community about to split.

@HiTech, man, I love your contributions to the WWII flight sim world. You've built two fantastic games with Game I Dare Not Name, and Aces High I. I wish you the best of success with your new venture in Aces High II.
Maybe in a year I can upgrade my equipment. Until then, can you share the AHI server code so someone can host it?
Where are all the rest of you Pentium II pilots hanging out these days?
