They'll have to pry them from my cold, nicotine stained fingers. Ireland has banned it in public buildings, no more guiness and a smoke.

Apparently this was the first time the Commons was invaded since Charles the first did it in 16 something or other.  That led to a civil war.  A warning from history.

I have no view on hunting foxhunting one way or the other. But I really cannot understand the amount of time, effort, money and hot air spent on trying to protect foxes from the redcoated hordes of faux country gentry.  Is it really a burning issue among the British people? Or just a bunch of cranks using parliament to get their particular view across?  I have some sympathy for the hunting fraternity.

At the end of the day most of the foxes will be shot as the 'varmints' they are. I suppose they'll ban shooting next. Someone already wants to ban fishing because it's 'cruel to fish'.

I put a 45gr hollow point through a fox's head last week at about 3900fps.  Pretty impressive results.  Little bastage was chasing my cat.    By the way I just got my full shoulder mount prong horn from the taxidermist, came out great, can't even see the bullet hole between the eyes any more.....:D

I've some sympathy for them, but portraying themselves as an oppressed minority is a bit, excuse the pun, rich. Plus it makes a nice change to see the middle class getting clubbed by the police.

Medicboy, cats and foxes tend to stay out of each others way around here, local vet reckons a cat would probably see off a fox if they ever squared off. Yours must be a bit of a pusssy ;)

Lol, rip you are going to have to speak english, I have hydrocodone and beer in my system and things are a bit foggy.  (back pain, and I'm a light weight).

Chortle, yes my cat is a 14lb wimp, but this fox is fairly big for a red fox.  He has killed all my neighbors chickens and has been cruising the hills here for the last 6 months, mangy nast looking sucker.  He was chasing my cat around on the hill behind my house and when I ran up there to scare him away he turned and barked (sounded more like a screach).  I thought he was going to square off with me, he ran into my upper pasture, sat down and stared at me.  I went inside, got my 22-250 and came back out, he was back down by the house going for my cat again, sooo night night foxy at about 40 yards.

Not this time of year, thats why I was waiting to shoot him.  The summer coat is mangy, smelly, nasty.  The winter coat is just down right beautiful.
