I've already replied on another post but gonna add my 2c as well..I was what seemed to be about 5 miles from the enemy fleet..about 10k..1st burst from the ack..I got hit..i turned, split S'd and was immediately hit again..uh uhhhhhh..no way..not even with radar guided radar.  This needs fixing IMHO.

This was not an intentional change.  We've been flying this version the last few days online but didn't catch any difference in this.  It must be related to one of the frame-rate optimizations that was made.  I guess the case could made that it really optimized frame-rates because now you can't get close to the enemy fleets.    We'll install a new host tomorrow to cut the lethality as a temporary measure to offset the FOWS capability.

Iam mixxed on this theres times I couldn't hit some one 1k away coming straight at me and then theres times some one can shave the hair off my bellybutton with the 5" flack guns at 5k away. you add that into the Computer ACK and AAA and it seems impossible to get torps into a carrier. But for some ungoodly reason people still manage to get past it all to vulch me on a carrier deck or torp my ship. So iam not so sure about the accuracy issue. I think its a question of who's gunnin and who is flying.

LOL Pyro! You got the British flare fer understatment. I DID notice a big frame rate boost.. when I wuz in my chute. Second 5" AA shell from 3 miles ended the frame rate test.

Yup...ditto this.  Although the fargin ack didnt let me anywhere close to an enemy fleet (where my FR went completely downhill), it did seem like the microwarps and stuttering were gone.  

You wanna talk silly range?  Try this...Im tooling from A7 to A8 at 18K and 300MPH in a Stang and when I get within range of A8, the enemy carrier which is sitting offshore there opens up at me and kills my engine in 2 pings.  BTW...the carrier was just within vis and about 10 miles away
