I have to agree that the fleet ack is way too accurate and lethal. It nails me when I can barely see the fleet while I am doing all kinds of evasive maneuvers. Its worse than missles because you can at least see them coming.

Hehe... JG54 was flying a offensive fighter patrol near an enemy port. We were still miles of the coast strolling along at about 20k, an enemy fleet anchored next to the harbour.

Suddenly get message of engine hit over radio - first plane is going down. What the hell was that I thought to myself - boom, flak clouds errupting around my plane. Having heard the rumours of the super flak, I put my plane around and nose down. Diving and weaving at 450 straight downwards with a trail of flak clouds all around me. Crush - direct hit - right side of my plane gone - crush - direct hit - dead...

Weeeeeee, I will stay 50 miles away from every 88 and fleet...

Btw, the plane that was going down engine out managed to get rid of 6 "normal" acks at the field - so Cit is absolutely right...

Hi!

Had the same things happen to me...

Actually I was killed by the first flak-explosions that ever occured twice on a day. I mean twice on one day - And i got damaged by flak quite often when I really had to look around to even find the nme carrier-group it came from... till I found it my Eng. was killed and i had to bail

Just cannot be this accurate...

And, the "normal" acks are relly not very accurate anymore, but that doesnt make them less effective - I was really good at ack-killing before, because I could easily fool them, now it seems they fool me

Citabria is right. Killing field ack is too easy (even with 2x12,7mm) but heavy ack-ack looks laser guided up to 25K+ (posted in Gameplay/Feedback forum).

I wont go feet wet near CV's till HTC fixes the damned thing
