Gixer since i'm the one who posted the other thread,
I said i'm worried about the whole region and all the new weapons there.
Iran building new weapons, Israel getting new weapons too, and i dont
talk about a few new rifles, this all looks very promising there.
But you instant count as anti-american, it doesent matter if you are right.
And i'm now called ameri-basher, well if people see it this way so be it.

Actually part of why I posted this thread was actually as a sarcastic answer to the situation in addition to what you brought up. Hence the rolling eyes.

While the discussions are going on between the UN and other nations about what to do with Iran. Seems Israel and US and rightly so in my opinion are going ahead and getting ready to something about it themselves. I understand yours and others points strongly but equally strongly agree with the US and Israel's governments  in that something needs to be done about Iran and done now.

As having them producing weapons grade materials isn't an option and certinly not one where we can wait and see what happens after a few more months of discussions at the UN and thinking about sanctions.

Agree that the build up of weapons and setting off a new arms race as such in Middle East or any other part of the world is diplorable. But since the cold war the reality imho is that we are more likely to suffer from some sort of nuclear incident somewhere in the world then any time during the cold war.

Also it seems that after the collapse of the soviet union and the cold war a certin vacum has exisited as to who opposes the US. Unfortunetly a few extremists are attempting to step up to the plate thinking they can have a go.

Best thing is to remind them that they are surely mistaken and to set Irans nuclear programe back 20 years. And by the most effective way possible.

I disagreed on the war in Iraq for many reasons, dosn't mean I disagree with strong action against Iran. That I'm anti american or anti Bush.

I also understand your point "And i'm now called ameri-basher, well if people see it this way so be it." But I also understand how our US friends on here must feel with the constant bashing and must surely be sick of it, which leads to easier misunderstandings between disagreeing with a certin action and being seen to be anti american..

Posted before I read your last post, still not sure I understand the sarcasm.

Sarcasim in a humours way at those (UN etc) still undecided about what exactly to do about Iran and it's nuclear endeavours, while  they are busy chatting about it. The US and Israel (rightly so imho) already appear to have a plan in action.
