that was kind of cruel... no I can't.   we could never afford shoelaces and now that I am older and the Wallmart job allows me some financial freedom... I have to wear pull on boots...  I am too ashamed at my age to ask people to tie my shoes or teach me to.    Can't the government do something?

xtoronto... I don't think anyone here fails to see the irony of you putting yourself in the category of "anyone who thinks".

I sincerly hope that you are holding your breath waiting for the immenent collapse of the U.S. economy... in the meantime you can cheer yourself up with any American deaths you can find on the news.   I know what a big woody you get every time an American dies.

The Captain is obviously a man of action. He is very concerned about illegal wars, that's why he is always bringing up all the conflics taking place around the world.

Captain Retard probably knows that the American abuse of Iraqi prisoners was probably the worst act of inhumanity that the world has ever known.

The good Captain knows that Israel is a terrorist state, I mean....doesn't everyone?

Capain, you are my hero. Please tell us, from your vast experience, how to conduct the war on terror.

Thanks Captain sir.

CBS's credibility deffinately took a big hit, but come on, it's not like they are FOX (anybody have the link to the survey that showed FOX had the highest number of mis-informed viewers)

Er... since we export more oil than any other country in world to the States, not to mention natural gas and electricity. Actually no other country even comes close when it comes to total energies exported to the States.

I'd say that, you'd be waiting in lineups fer gas, as we would be here fer twinkies.:aok

1.  We have oil reserves and the Alaska pipeline.

2.  Do you really think we have Alaska to stop Russia from invading the US?

3. How well trained is your Military?

Sleep well at night Bunghole know that someday there may not be a Border....

It's not their fault that the documents were forged. They were working on the story for 5 years and probably didn't have the extra 15 minuts to verify them before the election, so they had to run with what they had.....no big deal really.

The important thing is that the forged documents conveyed the general "story" regarding Bush's gaurd service, and I can live with that. I mean, CBS needed a visual prop to go along with the 15 year old "story".....that's really all it was, no big deal.

So yes, I trust CBS because they tell the truth and reveal the inside stories like they were meant to be told.....from the heart.

I am going to assume you were typing this tongue-in-cheek.

capt. apathy---

Here's the web address to the study on how badly mis-informed viewers of FOX News are, compared to those who use other sources like NPR (the best informed), or newspapers.
