A little Q&A for the HTC crew
« on: October 15, 2000, 03:48:00 AM »
I've always wondered what you guys and gals at HTC are like and what your interests are.  Here are some questions that I would love to have you answer.

Do you enjoy studying aviation or WW2 history in your free time?

If so, when did you start to become interested in this period of history and/or aviation?

Did joining HTC make you more interested in the subjects mentioned above?

Whats your favorite airplane/vehicle?

What warplane would you want to see the most in Aces High?

Questions for Nate, Pyro, Supa, HT

What aircraft/vehicle did/are you have the most fun working on?

Which airplane proved the most tedious to work on and was the hardest to get proper flight data/documentation for?

Trying to keep it short...

thanks

1. You can catch me watching the history channel any time something WWII is on. This all started after coming to work here.
2. Yes, every time I start a new plane or vehicle, I have to do research. The more I research the more interested I get.
3. My favorite plane is the Hurri IIc.
4. Hurri IIc
5. I had alot of fun working on the P-47, because I did it so fast, but I am most proud of the work I did on the Lancaster.
6. The Lancaster took me the longest to do, but the inside of the Panzer was the hardest to find pictures of.

1.  If there is something on tv about WWII, I usually watch it, especially anything related to aviation during WWII.
2.  I started getting interested when I began working here and researching the planes I modelled.
3.  Hurricane IIC
4.  ditto
5.  The JU-88 was the most tedious, and is the work I'm proudest of.  It was hardest for me to find references for the Macchi and the Yak.

hummmm...used to think that they were long oseum protuberances on the head of men married with "relaxed morale" women.

I dont see how that has something to do with sports.

Longhorns=Real Football, none of that sissy stuff ;p

Notice the line of thought here, both Nate and Super like the Hispano 4-cannon Hurri-II...think the anti-CHOG folks are REALLY gonna have something to complain about for years to come.

Hey the IIC is a great plane to model.  Anything in the arena will outrun it, including the B17 (Ok, perhaps I exaggerate a bit); it turns well and it's got the blooey guns.  Any sensible pilot will be able to get out of its way.  It'd be nice for the A2G stuff.  It will not replace some big blue monster with twice the HP and better aerodynamics.

funked

Nate and Superfly, you have great taste in aircraft.  Now I just hope you can get it ready for the first frame of Afrika Korps.
