Monkey Island 2: Le Chuck's Revenge - simply amazing game
Sam and Max Hit the Road - funny as hell
Tie Fighter - amazing campaign mode and great story
Aces High - blew me away first time I played

One of those based on enjoyment/hours spent playing.

I remember wasting a ton of quarters in the original Pac Man, Asteroids and Space Invaders.

I also loved Lode Runner and Gato (a sub game) in their day.

However as games evolved I found I had little interest in playing any of the new arcade games like Super Mario or Tetris or whatever.

Now I have no interest in anything but a few online flying sims.

Simplier was more addictive it seems.

The original Doom.  I still have an old computer at home to play it on from time to time.

Star Wars X-Wing vs Tie Fighters.  Excellent

Star Wars Rebellion.  I still play this one.

Unreal Tournament.  Benn playing this one long than any other game I ever had.  Let's see,..7 years I think.

Aces High.  When I get to play I have a blast.

Skuzzy, you ever check out http://www.TheThirdReich.com ?  It's a mod for UT.

But I'd have to go TTR for UT.

Then Doom.

Cannon fodder
Sensible soccer
Zelda: a link to the past
Final fantasy 7 (whole series is great)
Theme Hospital
Tie fighter

Those are just off the top of my head.  I played all these games to death before i moved on.  So many happy memories....

Interstel's Empire. The forerunner of the Civ series that made me buy my own computer in the late 1980s. A real "time accelerator." It's 11:00 am one minute and 4:30 am the next.

I forgot about 688 Attack Sub.  That was awesome.

I can't believe I'm the only one who mentioned Harpoon.

When I first played it, it was almost a religious experience.

HT's first child WB, nothing can beat the practice arena. Instant  formation drops of twenty five  B17's a mere five mins from the enemy's base. Watching the fighters attempt to break thru the auto gunner.  Synced carpet bombing of the enemy base with 100 lbers, twas sweet.

You could fly 20 missions an hour.:aok
