New CT Staff positions are in...
« on: October 07, 2004, 12:09:39 PM »
HTC has notified the CT staff to the candidates they have selected.  I have sent out notification emails to all but a few need to contact me.  Would the following users email me asap:
- Squire
- Duke

Once all candidates have contacted the CT staff, a final list of new CT staff will be announced.

So Fork, what you are saying then is that TheBug which was overwhelmingly supported by the player base has been left out by HTC?

Correct assumption.

Probably just late getting the word out, Bug.  There was no question of your commitment or your support.

I most definitely will continue to fly in the CT, I love it.

Gonna try to take the missions to the next level, but gonna have to wait to see what kind of committment level there is to the missions from the newly elected,  oops I mean selected.

If we get a full timer that is interested in helping out, I'll gladly step up my effort to make "Target for Tonight" happen.

Working on a new map, a CT website and enhancing mission nights, not gonna give it up just cause of being rejected.

It's a damn shame and very short sighted on part of the incredibly myopic HTC.  What a bunch of pinheads

Storch, besides showing your complete and utter disrespect for us, just what do you think that post of yours will accomplish?

Well Roy, respect needs to be earned.  HTC in general hasn't earned mine.  It is evident to me on many levels that HTC shows a considerable amount of disrespect to us, it's customer base.  I would hope that perhaps you would reconsider your decision on excluding TheBug a respected player who is willing to to put forth effort on behalf of the community.  Should I list my grievances in this forum?

You speak of respect, then you display none.  Do not ask for what you cannot give.

For example, it is none of your business why TheBug was not chosen.  That is showing respect to TheBug.  If he wants to know why, he can contact us directly.

Chosing to post what you did accomplishes nothing positive.  If the decision required your input, we would have asked for it.  It didn't.
If you have issues with us, then why not direct them to us?  Airing it out in a public forum is not going to accomplish anything.  Your choice to denegrate HTC, in a public forum, says you have no wish to solve anything, but are content to create angst.  Then your response defends that position.

And as far as showing no respect to you?  Well, if that were the case, theis thread could be closed, and your remarks removed from the thread.  You are out of line and show a disdain to admit it.  Do not expect to be respected for that.

Discussions in forums should be about achieving something positive.  A basic exchange of ideas with a potential for an end result.  They should never be about attacking anyone.  There is nothing useful to be gained from that.  Take a look at your post again, and tell me what is useful about it?
