Because Europe would be happy at the expense of our own interests... i.e. safety. Im sure Kerry would let all the EU countries into Iraq to profit from the duty of our troops. Thats one of my favorite bush-happenings.

Germany/France: Screw going to war.

Bush: Alright. We don't need you.

*3 months later*

Bush: Sweet, we won.

Germany/France: Mind if we come in and get some nice reconstruction contracts and oil revenue?

Bush: F*ck off.

Probably because they only smile when we're passed out and bent over a chair with our pants around our ankles.

I dunno, hasn't Kerry gone on and on about not having enough troops in Iraq? Doesn't that sound like he plans to send more there? Where's he gonna get all the extra troops? Oh wait, I forgot, he's gonna get France and Germany to send troops.

How can anyone take him seriously?

Same here. I remember some blather about defending The Constitution of The United States but nothing about personal opinions of the CIC.
My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives.

Unfortunately gentlemen, I don't think you realize the numbers of military folks that feel similar to Astac. I'm retiring after 24 years whether Kery is elected or not but many of my peers are planning on dropping their retirement paperwork the wednesday after the election if Kerry wins.

Not unpatriotic.. I did agree to follow the orders of the POTUS in my enlistment oath. However when one finds that no matter how they try, they can't find anything about a POTUS that would motivate them to follow him, or that the beliefs of the POTUS are way out of line with rational thought, not to mention hr denounced his military service then tries to USE his service to get elected, I feel that I can no longer serve conciously under that person. He is an ass. I will not carry out the military will of that man.
