Ya know what John Kerry really needs to do is get Teddy to give his wife a ride. Near water. With a bridge.

On the contrary, my distaste for the Heinz-Kerry is rather deep.

Her education isn't much to brag about...

Maria Teresa Thierstein Simoes-Ferreira Heinz Kerry (AKA Ketchup Nazi): Bachelor of Arts degree in romance languages and literature at the University of Witwatersrand, South Africa, 1960; Interpreters School of the University of Geneva, 1963.

Apparently, they didn't offer any courses on how to recognize when it's time to keep one's mouth shut.....

Red it was sarcasm at the attacks on the wives of the candidates. It reached a crescendo with Hillary C. The righties, some of them in here, accused her of murdering V Foster. I just dont understand the attacking of the wives.

Horny I did know about the tragic accident in LB's past.

Im Inclined to vote Kerry just for the chance to have 4 years of teresa's beautiful Wit in the white house! 4 years that may very well end any hopes of the Dem party recovering for at least 12 years..Everyone will be so shell shocked that Hillary will have no chance of getting elected!

IKON

My wife has never had a job since we married....oh yeah....there is that mother of my children thing and let's not forget the management of our home, which is like running a small business in my house.

Cmon MT....forget the politics....her statement was born out of ignorance of real life....it doesn't matter that she was factually wrong, it's her attitude that causes me to shake my head in wonder.

And she apologized for it.

I've seen and heard Laura Bush speak. Very nice lady, good head on her shoulders, probably a good mother and wife.

I've seen Teresa Kerry in informal interviews too. She struck me as a caring and involved mother, wife, and an intelligent woman. Now you can take a sentence she said and run to the endzone with it or we could all just try to see things through real world glasses instead of the ones the media provides.

She is 66 years old. She is used to speaking her mind. I wonder why no one picked out this part of the same paragraph to quote:

Quote
I don't know Laura Bush. But she seems to be calm, and she has a sparkle in her eye, which is good.

or this part:

Quote
And I'm older, and my validation of what I do and what I believe and my experience is a little bit bigger — because I'm older, and I've had different experiences. And it's not a criticism of her. It's just, you know, what life is about.

Or has anyone even looked at this?

Quote
"I had forgotten that Mrs. Bush had worked as a school teacher and librarian, and there couldn't be a more important job than teaching our children. As someone who has been both a full-time mom and full-time in work force, I know we all have valuable experiences that shape who we are. I appreciate and honor Mrs. Bush's service to the country as first lady and am sincerely sorry I had not remembered her important work in the past."

Heck no... much easier to bag than to try and understand or even keep an open mind. Sad really.
