and say it is vehicles of the Afrika moving past abandoned British transport to occupy Tobruk.

Just 'cause I like to live dangerously.

BMW motorbike with german soldier following a car with a gun behind it on the road.

Id say that they are fleeing, advancing or just moving from A to B.

A picture of group stuff from a poster who is running out of pictures of individual stuff (which is understandable, i.e., how many individual weapon types were there in WWII?).

Best guess is a:

Cannone da 75/27 (7.5 Feldkanone 237i)

Based on the splinter shield details, and the RE on the vehicle I.D. plate towing it. An Ansaldo Autocaretta?

lol, I liked the pick so I posted it, it has many interesting things going on in it and a few things I have never posted before, namely theItalain Equipment, the British truck and the Styer.
The Enclyopedia of weapons of WW2 lists aprox. 1500 diferent weapons systems, and it is by no menas all inclusive, in fact it falls far short of covering all of them. I have spent some time thinking of this and I am loath to gues because I am shure I would be wrong, but I would say at least 5,000 most likely far more than that.
