It is inherently dangerous to do releases either over a weekend or on a Friday. First, people are tired at the end of the week and if a mistake were to happen, that's when it'd be. Then there's the issue of if something does break you may not have everyone you need to fix it there at the office - so you gotta call people from their homes to come into the office - assumnig they aren't travelling. You tech support people are probably not working because, well, its a weekend and they weren't involved in the actual release.

It really is a bigger risk than you realize until you work in the Belly of the Beast.

Note that I don't work for or pretend to speak for HTC ... I'm just explaining why HT probably chose not to release over the weekend. So if it ain't Monday, don't go making like HT said it would be.

Given that the compiled installer is done and they considered actually releasing it today, I'm sure Monday is the day we'll get it.
