Squad Ops in a nut shell.
Sqwiggly every month, (3 weeks on and 1 week off) we hold the Friday Squad Operations. To start the Admin CM divides up all the squads. Some of the squads are Allied and some are Axis. Each week the Admin CM sends out the orders to the 2 frame C.O.’s, (1 Allied and 1 Axis). Each week there is an Allied Frame C.O. (he/she makes up the orders for all the Allied squads that week), and an Axis Frame C.O. (he/she makes up the orders for all the Axis squads that week). Some Frame C.O.’s don’t bother with maps, but most do. Some Frame C.O.’s have a lot of detail, others do not. You should get your orders by Wed of every week. Thursday at the latest or the Frame C.O. is not doing their job. After 3 weeks we take a week off, then the Admin CM switches many of the squads, picks a new terrain, new year, new plane set and divides up the squads again. Then we start all over.
I strongly suggest you read this which will help you understand what Squad Ops is about.
http://events.hitechcreations.com/squadops/registeruser_fri.phpand explain the responsibilities of every player and Squad C.O. and X.O.
It is frustrating for us to have squads in Squad Ops that don’t have any idea what is going on. When this happens players don’t follow orders and before you know it squads are not showing up, not attacking the assigned targets, or not defending what they should be. Squads that make those kinds of mistakes (which can be avoided with just a few minutes of time) don't last long in Squad Operations.
