This post inspired me to do the depressing math about the cost of my monthly coffee intake.

$160 bucks a month, based on 4 Starbucks' coffees a day.

Whadda joke.

Be honest, Funked, it's not possible to experience this trick if your lil fella can't reach the back of her throat.

I just dont understand the appeal of Starbucks.

I've tried it on several occasions just to see what the big deal was about and to be honest I didnt find it to be any more then average tasting at best. And at least one time less then average.

I can get coffee that tastes just as good at half the price at just about any local lunch truck.
OK well maybe not a lunch truck but certainly any Diner

They took an average tasting cup of coffee and marketed it well enough to duped everyone into thinking they had the best thing since the invention of the coffee pot.

Never was impressed with starbucks either.  What a hassle to have to stop inside a place, order, wait, let cool for 5 years, drink... just for a beverage.  Beverages are secondary and should be integrated into the routine.  If you're not multitasking you do not = teh smert.

Now, those iced mocha minty flavored thingies.  Gloria Jean's rocks.  Not for the morning though.  I only have coffee if I'm having one of those drive-off-bridge-into-harbor-while-dreaming/driving-mornings.

You drink it to wake up or prevent sleep.  Taste shouldn't be factor.  Coffee... ****ty filter, black.

Wtf???
"French press"... nobody in France that I know would drink out of that horrible "plunger" (Used in UK btw...nevar in France). And it just tastes like dishwasher water...

This is what you make coffee with:

Where are these diners?  Every one I've been in had weak, bitter coffee that tasted of ass.

Gotta have my coffee.
My most often used phrase in AH is "AFK to visit Juan Valdez".  :D

The best coffee, bar none, is what us hunters and fishermen refer to around here as "creek bank coffee".  Take an old fashion coffee pot, or any pot as far as that goes, add water, throw in the coffee, place over the coals of the camp fire.  When it boils slide it back a bit, throw in a little water to settle the grounds and enjoy.
This stuff will fix anything from the break of day to a broken heart.
