B-24 autopilot

B-24 with full fuel and 1,000lb eggs will not auto climb properly. It will porpoise up and down, going +/- about 35mph at both extremes, and will ride the stall horn on the "nose up" portion.

Tried getting the angle right manually and engaging auto climb, but it still wanted to do it.

Krusty,
I've experienced a similar problem. With 100% fuel and 1,000 lbs bombs. The Auto climb oscilated between +4,000 fpm and -4,000 fpm the entire climb. I think it's definately a bug.

Me too, guys.  Waited for it to stabilize around 5000 feet ASL, but B24 drones couldn't keep up, went too far below and exploded. I bailed and relaunched used "green light" auto angle hold at 1500 FPM ROC.  Worked ok.  But prolly is a bug.
