I'm not going to try to convince you.  IF you are happy as you are, good for you.

It's not propaganda but what I saw for myself.
I know in the US I'll make way more cash (and most likely - initialy at least- more resources for studying) than anywhere else, more easily.  And I like the people there better.  I don't like traditions getting in my plans' way.
Money = power, and I don't care about influencing other people, I mean power to get more of what I want for myself; and not at the expense of others either.

It's not the army, I'm doing another degree over here while I sort something out to be able to finish the one I started over there.

Okidoki... i really should not speak for all of europe either, cause it consists of many individual countries with different system as i know you know.

I can only speak for my country and we have the same freedom and when it comes to purchasing power then i don't want to start another debate on that issue either but you could find that out for yourself.

poor poor tinpot!   is that a tear I see?   holed up in his room with  a green day cd on his euro puny player and looking at old vhs speeches by michelle moore on his 19" taxed to the hilt TV.

Clutching his cricket paddle thing while hiding under the bed in case a burglar comes.

hey!  I bet I could write song lyrics too!

I live in a world governed by Biggoted Redneck American d*ckheads in a country who's PM just runs along behind brown nosing.

Thank god we got an election next year. I'll vote for anyone with an intelligent world view!

Well I've seen some countries and been in touch to people living there and I gotta say Finland is quite nice place to be... but each his own; some guys like mom while other screws daughter, if I'd like to fool around with a blond teenager scout-leader I wouldn't love 28y old brunette  :)
Tried both; like this one much more even if she's not as kinky  :D

What backs the euro --

You might want to do a little research on the the european bond market and see how comfortable you are with the euro.

In a few years time oil will prolly be traded in euros because of the falling value of the dollar. They are talking about it now, but im not sure what they end up doing. If the dollar gets strong again then its not gonna be a change i think. Trade in other products are increasingly done in euros.

It wont be very good for anyone if it happens. The result will be a very strong euro and a weaker dollar. That will mean that USA will have to pay alot more for its oil and other imports, and we will get american products even cheaper than we do now. The flipside for us is that we wont export as much to USA as we do now (3 times what we import from US) and that will hurt some companies and tourism abit.

For now the dollar is the main trading currency around the world and will continue to be for the close future but that may change as more countries and business is moved to the euro.

you actually forgot Poland ;-)

what can i say? i think (NOT SURE but almost sure) Poland was the only (or maybe one of our tv news stations screwed the "only" part) euro country that prefered Bush over Kerry. Actually Bush had more then 80% support here.

As i said, not sure if no other countries prefered Bush over Kerry, but that's what i heard yesterday.
