Poor Illegals.....
« on: November 05, 2004, 10:32:26 PM »
Arizona passes Prop 200 with double digit numbers, despite being outspent  5-1 by illegal alien sympathizers.

Prop 200 basically denies some public services to illegals and requires proper ID in order to vote. Seems pretty reasonable, right?

Well reports from Hispanic groups are saying that "imigrants" are now in a panic and living in fear since 200 passed. LOL! Why would legal imigrants be afraid?

This measure kicks arse and the illegals can go suck an egg.

And Vicente Fox demanded today that Bush reform imigration laws within one year. He can go fugg himself as far as I'm concerned.

Poor illegals have to live illegally in fear of being denied American tax payer funded benifits. Great news! Live in "fear" Illegals,  I love it.

Arizona has an estimated 500,00 illegal aliens living here at a cost to the state of about 1 billion dollars a year. 40% of all illegal aliens cross Arizona's border with Mexico.

The issue has to be delt with and prop 200 was a small step in the right direction.

If Mexico was so concerned about its folks immigrating out to the USA, they'd militarize their border.  I have no tolerance for illegal immigration, send em packing...build a human catapult to send em back across for all I care.  They are a huge disservice to those that come thru *legally*.

No it's the opposite.  Fox wants us to basically open our borders more.

Sad state of affairs. Tends to lead to complicated issues of the "American Dream" vs the Americans' responsibility.

Pay nothing in, get everything out.

But come here seeking what everyone that risked everything coming here was looking for.

It's a shame that they come over illegally. I think that almost everyone would welcome them if they could do it legit.

But acceptance of a new culture and language used to be not only the norm, but what they desired. Not so anymore it seems.

Yanno what we should do.

Bypass Fox and take it right to the Mexican people.

Ask them if they want Mexico to become a state.

Might as well. It seems most would rather come here anyway.

I seem to remember hearing someplace that mexico has a vast amount of  national resources its just that its undeveloped.

Make Mexico a state and develop its resources.

Then everyone wins

I know you were posting this as a bit of tongue in cheek but it does have some merit. Unfortunately it would be very expensive at least in the short run, say about 50 years. There ARE resources there but not necessarily in the magnitude that would make this profitable very quickly. The other factor and the determining one is that the Mexican people wouldn't want to scarifice their soveriegnty.

It is an interesting thought but not really feasable.
DEFINITION OF A VETERAN
A Veteran - whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life."

Actually a bit yes. but only a very little bit.
I dont think it would take all that long.
Im thinking closer to ten years then 50
I see Tourism being a major boom to them in the short term right from the outset.
Developers would have a feild day that would last years and years.
Think of all the retirees. Florida is getting kinda full
They wouldnt have to go to the money and come here.
the money would go to them.
As for sovereignty.
Thats why I said to bypass Fox and pose the question to the mexican people themselves. they still would have a measure of sovereignty the way the rest fo the states do.

The only ones I can see being against this would be the Texans as it really would make Texas the third largest state:)

The next time Fox makes a visit tell him to bring enough busses to take all his citizens home when he leaves.

Let's see... that would be 5,000,000 divided by 50.  Or about.... aah... 100,000 busses.

Maybe we'd have to lend them some....
