I want to thank whels for coming in to verify my ditches. Once again I apologize to all for this incident.
While CENT2 and CENT5 have been flying for a long time (Since AW1 on AOHELL) we were probably not well known as we do not put up splashy numbers, caring little about rank or points. We fly because we love the game, the competition between the people and countries. (and because Dad has been working on airplanes for going on 34 years and still can't get enough)
Had a good conversation with Robert last night. He is a good Christian young man who just kind of got caught up in the moment.
I explained to him that in the on-line world as well as in real life a man has little else but his name and reputation. These are bound to him for good or for bad and it's up to him to uphold what he believes in. I believe in duty and honor. I think Robert has learned a life's lesson in these matters.
Toward the end of our talk Robert said " Ya know Dad we were not well known before but this incident has made you famous" I laughed and said "No son it made me Infamous and I could have done without it thanks" We laughed, shed a couple tears and had a good long hug and called it a night.
So when you see a couple of 109G10's or FW 190A8's spiraling down on your base you can kiss your troops goodbye cause the CENTS package doesn't miss. We will fly high and proud and continue to contribute to the Bish cause in any little way we can.
I want to personally thank all the people that contributed to this thread. It does kind of read like a story. One, I hope, is not soon repeated. LOL
