Watching television this morning before going to work when I saw a guy being interviewed on the local NBC affiliate. He was representing Marshall Fields, a large somewhat upscale retail department store. They put on a unique and festive Xmas display each year. The local store is doing a version of Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs with a Christmas theme. BUT, the guy kept referring to the dwarfs as "the little men". What?

Yep, numerous times referred to "Snow White and the Little Men". Then he also explained the "little men" are to be a group of diversity, with a mix of white, black, asian and hispanic little men. Give me a freaking break, it's one thing to be sensitive to peoples race, gender, disabilties and handicaps, it's a whole nother thing to completely mess with a classic fairy tale.

Wait till I tell the boys in the militia about this!

Why the half measures?

Just get it over with and re-title it to 'Snow Person and the Seven Little People'.

I'm going to make a formal challenge to the name of one of the little people; Dopey.

It's a slight against drug addicts everywhere.

Since Dopey was, for all intents and purposes, an idiot... and since he was the only one to be completely bald and beardless, I submit this petition to rename him "Drippy".

the little peoples names have been changed from sleepy, grumpy,sneezy, doppy to whitey, blacky,beaner, etc

i think a movie about a young white female virgin and seven little men living together sounds like a porn flim.

Shoot next thing you know, you cant call it Snow White any more. It will be labeled as saying the title is racist against blacks.
