I never understood the term PJ and really hated it for some reason. I never saw or heard of a real P38 driver referring to his plane as a PJ.
What the heck is a PJ other then something my kids put on when they went to bed?

That aside, I hope it isn't a J model to go with the L. Gotta go earlier in that H at least but an F or G would be even better.
Good flashbacks to the days when the 38 days of airwarrior. Kinda scary what folks could do with that thing, in particular in RR.
The P38 Pilots Union was a lot stronger back then too. I remember many an occasion where I'd meet up with a 38 driver from another country and we'd wing it into the third country for a bit of confusing action talking to your wingman on the open channel while you worked together
