Thanks ... Its a bear working with the film viewer.

I only tweaked the Color Hue and Contrast in that picture. For some reason, the gamma on my screen tends to be on the light side, so screen shots tend to be on the lighter side/washed out. What I am portraying there, could actually look just like that on someone elses monitor.

Everything in that picture is exactly as it happened. I did not add or delete anything from the original screen shot.

Here is the same one photoshopped.

Added a blur to soften the picture ... afterall we are going 500 mph and the F-stops back in WW II didn't allow such crisp pictures ... not even what I have portrayed. I also added some jet wash to the engine exhaust.

sometimes it usefull for aiming i find. hold the nose steady for a full power shot. only take it off when the flight or plane demands it.

The 'new' water looks great at medium altitudes, but down really low it starts looking silly (this is under a few hundred feet), and up high it looks worse and  worse as you go.  Its got definite potential though we need to:

Correct the  white noise sparkle effect seen in that pic above...it just doesnt look good...in fact it looks damn bad:eek:

Add some sort of lower altitude hieght cues, as it is now, its impossible to judge your altitude by looking at the water if the 'new and improved' is on.

Overall Im happy to see any attempts to update the terrain engine.  I know they can fix the problems and it does look damn good under certain, albiet limited situations.

Just a little blur (very little) fixes the sparkle
