Ever since patch 2 I have been getting system freezing. It only happens in AH, and as a result I am forced to hold in my power button to reboot. Control alt delete doesn't work, netiher does alt tab, but I can still hear ambient sounds. It is getting very frustrating because It always seems to happen when im on a roll.
I run the following:
WIN XP Pro SP2
DX 9c
AV333X/L
Barton 2500+
1GB PC2700
GF4200 (Running older 53.xx drivers iirc, new ones make unstable)
I have a cable connect with average ping of 80 or so.
The system will lock up and some images will remain like fires, but any text areas like map and guages will go white blocks. This is caused by soemthing when I either change views or hit esc to bring up map. It has happened while do both of these but only when doing both of these so something with these two is causeing it.
Just wanted to add that I had not ever discoed since I came back to AH2, untill this started shortly after installing patch 2.
PLEASE any advice short of formating my C: I would appreciate.
