It's not a feature, it's a crutch.

Personally,  I don't think it  should be allowed.  However, I don't think many other things in the game should be allowed either, but are.  You see, I recognize AH as a game.  Maybe some others are a 'little too close' to the game?

Btw, Alt-Tab to desktop is a game feature. As in, it is built into the game.   I have no idea why this is allowed other than to enable the film viewer?

Saying something is dweebish (which I agree it is) will not make it go away.

I dont know whats worse..the "feature" or announcing it on the boards..may all your systems crash and u lose your tiger while watching intel instead of manning your gun.

HiTech

I used to alt tab out to watch a film when I didnt know how I died or when I wasnt sure how someone made a certain move that ended up getting me killed.

With that said I can wait until my game session is done to view films if it stops an exploit.

Great Solution HiTech to avoid this type of game 'exploit', 'feature' or whatever players wanna call it.

This is what I do anyway, I record my battles then logoff, grab a beer and then see in the film what happened.

er, if you keep dying then you're not good enough.

try using a little sense and take cover in the ample vegetation provided.

a tank that drives straight at the enemy and then dies is not bad programing, its bad commanding.

When i do GV it, which is rare, i spend up to an hour sneaking around and finding a good spot. use your map and your tactical reserves to 'out think' your opponent. Stealth is the key.

use some brains instead of playing ground quake and you will find your success rate improves dramatically.
And I don't know much, but I do know this. With a golden heart comes a rebel fist.
