"I still don't understand the degradation of women being so casually looked past here by the so called "progressives" on this board tho."

You cannot be talking about me.

I'm the one who likened your attitude towards women to the Taliban, remember?

It is heart-warming though to see your concern regarding women's degradation.  Maybe there is some hope.

I can bet his name isnt Tyrone from South Central Los Angeles.

You are making all kind of BS rationalizations and implying some sort of 'white corporate conspiracy' to import drugs.

I am just trying understand what kind of kook you really are. Lotsa your kindred make claims about the origins of crack and AIDS in the same way you are implying that 'white corporations' must be responsible for putting drugs into their neighborhoods.

You said

Quote
Nike is owned by a white man.
If you think that the drugdealer on the corner has enough money and power to have ties with columbians to bring drugs into this country you are misimformed.

I asked you a specific question. Do you think the 'white guy' or 'guys' who own 'Nike' import drugs?

You are the one rambling on about white corporate conspiracies...

Back on topic, about white racist music;

Today's ‘white racist’ music originated in Britain under the guise of  ‘Rock Against Communism’ (RAC) in the late ‘70s.

Example:

Quote
THE RED THREAT

This is a warning, against a red day a'dawning
With communists trying, to get into our head
Take over the Media, with Marx they force feed ya
Come on all you Whites, fight the threat that is Red
Come on all you Whites, fight the threat that is Red

They encourage such mixing, to us it is sickening
And they say, for the Third World, we must provide bread
Just for one occasion, let's think of our own nations
Come on all you Whites, fight the threat that is Red
Come on all you Whites, fight the threat that is Red

instrumental break

Come on all you Whites, fight the threat that is Red
Come on all you Whites, fight the threat that is Red

We'll fight in the cities, we'll fight in the country
And we'll fight, the Red peril, our pride we'll not shed
For the strength of White nations, will be our salvation
Come on all you Whites, fight the threat that is Red
Come on all you Whites, fight the threat that is Red
Come on all you Whites, fight the threat that is Red
Come on all you Whites, fight the threat that is Red

and

Quote
THE LAND IS OURS

I feel a peace as I walk the leafy lanes
Look out over them hills, boy it looks like rain
See the distant mountains, with the storm clouds high above
This is my land, my country, the place I love

(chorus)
We ain't gonna like it if they take our land away
Looks like history repeating itself again
We ain't gonna like it if they take our land away
If they steal our heritage, somebody's gonna pay

My father worked this land as his father did before
And they'd turn in their graves, if they knew what was in store
Someone came from some big city, and tried to buy our farm
Threw our life's work out to rot, they've done a lot of harm

(chorus)

instrumental break

(chorus)

The pride in our community, the media'd love to kill
They hate to see our unity, intact against their will
Tried to take our livelihood, tried to take our guns
If we left 'em take our pride, then surely they have won

(chorus) x2

From there it spread through out Europe and to North America. Eventually is spread through out the ‘white world’. From Russia to Australia and even in South America there are ‘white racist’ bands. Skrewdriver was one of the most influential bands.

Since most other countries have laws against 'hate speech' the lyrics were rather tame in comparison to the stuff that was put out in the US. We don't have such laws. In the mid '80s a number of American Racist music companies started up. Resistance and Panzerfaust being the 2 largest.

What these companies do know is make compilation CDs of various white racist bands and will ship them free to kids so they can pass them out for free to their friends and classmates in the hopes that they hook them with the music. In the beginning they hoped these kids would develop into die hard racists now they just look at them more as customers.

The lyrics grew progressively more violent and racist.

READING IS FUNDAMENTAL WOTAN...
Who the hell said nike imports drugs? I said they make jordans... Who said it was a white conspiracy theory? DAMN stop putting words in my mouth.

So let me slowly break down what that rapper is saying thru his words.

Drug dealers buy Jordans.....stop, let me explain.....
He is saying this because of the "bling bling" factor. Jordans are one of the most expensive tennis shoes you can buy. SO to show that they are what we blacks call "ballers" they tend to purchase expensive things....

Crackheads buy crack... stop, I hope you arent that slow....

And the whiteman gets paid off of all of that...stop, let me explain... Since he and I believe that the majority shareholders in Nike are white, who profits the most from sales of Jordans? Nothing is wrong with that by the way. And since he and I believe that the middleman between those who import drugs and those who sale the drugs is some well to do white guys in the suburbs he is saying that on the streets they profit the most from drugs.

the guy is despicable in more ways than i can count.

but he does have a point in this:

"You can be black and racist and have an illustrious career. If you're white and racist, you might end up going to jail."

chris rock himself has said stuff around these lines. the irony of it!

i find it difficult to beleive someone would sell anti white **** to middle class white kids, with other non "racist" songs on the same CD and actually be serious...about as likely to promote racism as selling a white power CD to a black kid.

as soon as the black rappers start selling black power CD's to black kids, then ill have a problem.

We either protect racism under free speech or we don't... It's just that simple.   It doesn't matter what color you are... either everyone get's a pass or no one does.

this is really an uncomfortable subject for the "progressives"   they have a very difficult time justifying racism and  debasement of women by minorities.

I personally don't have any trouble with racial slurs or degrading remarks being protected under free speech...  I also believe that if you say them to the wrong people or in front of the wrong people and get smacked a good one then you had a part in your beating.

I read fine, but let me review it for you:

You mentioned Nike:

Quote
Nike is owned by a white man.

So we can infer that you believe a 'white man' makes money from drug sales just like the Kanye West song indy007 posted.

Then you immediatly went into:

Quote
If you think that the drugdealer on the corner has enough money and power to have ties with columbians to bring drugs into this country you are misimformed.

Obviously you can't remember what it is you wrote even after I quoted it several times. However, that quote has nothing to do with the drug dealer making money off crack heads and spending it on 'Jordan's'.

So I asked the question:

Quote
Do you think the 'white guy' or 'guys' who own 'Nike' import drugs?

Clearly you believe its beyond the capability of the drug dealer to get large sums of drugs on his own.

Drug dealers and Drug King pins make money off demand not anthing else. They don't need government or corporate or a rich white guys help to get drugs into the country and distribute them. Of course there are plenty of 'white guys' along the chain and that deal directly but thats not what we are talking about.

I will quote it again for you:

Quote
If you think that the drugdealer on the corner has enough money and power to have ties with columbians to bring drugs into this country you are misimformed.

You claimed some of us are mis-informed. I asked you to 'inform' me...

Man, I post one snippet from a song (that I actually like), and y'all just get crazy on it. So might as well throw in my 2 cents while I'm at it.

I don't think there's a white corporate conspiracy. With the current trend of rapper's promoting everything from their own energy drinks, to clothing & shoes, to rims.. what's the difference between buying a pair of Jordan's to be a baller, or a pair of Dada Supremes? Somebody's getting rich off of it, and it's not the consumers. So what does it matter who makes the profit? BUT! I bet you won't ever hear a rap song complaining about black media moguls cashing in. Like it, don't like it, or simply don't care (like me), that's just the way it is.

Now, I'm going to say what I like about racism. It's universal. It also leads to some pretty funny, completely non-PC jokes. I can hang out in a black crowd, and crack jokes about how much I hate white people (I'm white, btw). I can walk up to my black roommate and spit out jokes about fried chicken. I can walk downstairs and sit down with a Chinese salesman, and listen to him go off about much he hates Vietnamese & Cambodians. I can go to lunch with my Cuban friends and see the look of utter disdain on their faces when they have to talk to a Mexican or Puerto Rican. I can hop on a plane, fly back to Dubai, and stand amazed that they practice blatant immigration discrimination against Somalians(sp?), and it's just par for the course there. I can stand next to virtually any American, and make fun of the French... and probably Canadians to, eh?

It's just a matter of time until we're all completely de-sensitized. I long for that day. The day where racism is mainstream funny. Not just "oh, I can't believe he said that!" funny... but par for the course funny. We're gonna get there eventually!

Quote I where I said you did.

I asked a question based on a reply you made...

Do I need to quote it all for you again?

I don't care what you are saying out side the question I asked. You 'danced' around it like a soul train dancer finally answering...

It confirmed exactly what I thought, you are kook...

The big white 'boss man' in the suburbs, importing drugs to take advantage of the black man's vices...

Wasn't that a Wayans movie?
