Being a lifetime Bishop myself, I never really realized that the other countries weren't like this.

I really enjoy working in the Bish kingdom and won't be leaving... But considering the way Knits smash us so often I would have had them pegged as the super serious base takers...

Interesting.  Thanks En4

When I first started playng with the Knights, the Bish and the Rooks clobbered us day in and out.  In the past few months that has changed 180 degrees.  I would love to say that we as a country got our act together but I feel our success lately has been attributed to the migration of several squads.  I assume things in the MA are cyclical and therefor in another couple of months, those squads will move again thus scrambling the performace factor.

Things used to be cyclical....
Now the migration is more system driven....

hey man you missed some great missions last tour!

we were running B24 and escort missions with 20+ pilots regularly for a few weeks. i think all countries play the same to be honest, I have spent 3 tours rook and a week bish in my 13 months of playing. just depends when you catch them, and how much you personally are prepared to join the spirit of teamwork. alot of others, such as the JBs, and the FreeBird$ put up missions on the hour every hour when they are in the mood.

i agree you can spend certain amounts of time in any country and come away with different opinions about thier gameplay from what ya see. :)

Interesting that in my pilgrimage through the Bishop Empire and the Rook Regime I fought along side players who were sworn enemies of mine. I have always been a Knight and sadly I have to admit now that most (got to leave margin for error) enemy players get labeled unfairly. During the past month I have come to admire and respect a great many of my adversaries - 3High, Dr7, GHI, Rollo, Zanth, SECracka, Sundownr, Wonder, Dragoon, TalonX, RPDBOB, and yes, the rest of the SHIZNOTs (I even learned what that means). It’s kind of nice to put a voice at least to a callsign finally. It was definitely a growing experience to see the game from a different side. I have to honestly say that each country has its own style which is probably greatly affected by squad migration.

I've never heard of this EN4CER guy either.  Unfortunately, being a Knight, I've heard GETSOME's dumb bellybutton rants.

Hehe,

About this traitor business, I understand exactly what Gotsome means, flying with the enemy is really a lesson learned.

I fly as Skeeter0, and I fly for every country at one time or another. I have found jerks and excellent "people" on all sides.

I am flying as a knight right now, but as a bish I particularly enjoyed Rollo and Sundownr. Sundownr spent an hour one night helping me get a mic up and running. Rollo, when he kills me as a Knit, I can just hear that distinctive accent of his saying "190 is dead".

I don't know why people get so upset about switching sides. This is a game, and I enjoy the people more than the "objective". If I'm playing on the bish team and they go into "quit mode", where I fly a goon 2 grids to a target to find EVERYBODY left, I may switch sides and find the JB's, or Hooker, or another group of regular knits who are fun to fly with.

I guess I pick my side based on WHO is flying more than anything else.

One rule tho, if I switch sides in mid-stream, I NEVER fight in the same place on the map that I was just at. That WOULD suck.

I may join a squad someday, if so I would remain "loyal", but right now I just enjoy flying with friends I have never met.

You could always just fly for a squad that flys for them all.  There's quite a few out there.
