:) man, I swear I could hear you cursing on the forced overshoot (120mph, everything hanging out) - big fat 109 in your face.

Nice film, ty.

interesting warp tho'....
Surrounded by suck and underwhelmed with mediocrity.
I'm always right, it just takes some poepl longer to come to that realization than others.

yeah, that warp really turned things around, i was about to hang on the rudder and slink in just behind him...maybe.

man, i have never in all my days been more frustrated at myself as when i snapped that overshoot :)

EDIT: hey you two, i know you're both skilled pilots. apart from actually hitting him when i had the chance, what could i have done better?

i realise the mistake of rolling right infront of his guns at the end, but aside from that, how could i have broken the stalemate sooner? maybe taking my barrels up and over instead of down and round with him?

anyhow, despite the ludicrous warp, it was still a great fight. a rare event for me in the MA today.

Batfink, my current favorite thing to do to give myself a giggle is to chop the throttle when a guy is behind me and force an overshoot just like you did there. :)

Probably 4 out of 5 times I get away with few if any pings, and 1-2 out of 5 I kill the guy after he passes.

i starting flying the Jug alot more after seeing a certain AoM ace showing me this move, along with how not to fight a p47 when you're in a spitV :)

I always loved the D-11, but I gained new perspective on how it could be flown the first time I saw Shane fly it in the CT. Its been, along with the 190A-5, and the F4U-1, my main ride in the MA. One of its main advantages is, and its least used by most that fly it, it dumps E REALLY quickly when you want it to, perfect for forcing La7's to overshoot. :)

S! Batfink.  Great fight.  A moral victory to you in the 40Jug.

Nice to look at the fight from the other end of the gunsight.

In my film, your jug did some crazyness right before your quick extension.  I don't remember any warps in the fight so I notched it up to film wierdness.  I can email it to you if you want.

Those are the fights you don't forget.

Good stuff. Don't you just hate it when you have this huge plane form shot that almost makes it in front of your guns...

..and you snap ??

sooooooo close..

wasnt complaining about the wierd warp at all sir, knew you would have a similar one at the same time most likely. it scared me a little, and i did that 2000yrds extention just to compose for another merge. was one of those intesne ones for me, amazing how 80% of the fight we are no more than 400 yrds apart!

it was, as the master jug skinner says, one to remember, thanks :)

sure, i'd love to see your film of it Djhayze21@hotmail.com, i dont think it saves your views and head possitions etc in your enemy's film, better to see the fight from your eyes :)

You guys do know that you can jump into any plane that is in the list on the right hand side of the viewer by double-clicking on their name.

rgr Slap, ty.  its just a bug that the person whos film it is uses his/her views universally for all planes.

IE: if i am looking back at him shooting me on my film, if i switch to his plane it will be the same backward view. this is obviously no good if what he is shooting at is comanding his recorded views.

watching the other persons film shows what his SA was like, and all his flight details, ammo, fuel, etc.

it's not a bug.
you can switch off the recorded views (there's a tick box).

i see that, but then you get no view changes for the enemy dont you?

the purpose of seeing your opponent's film is to see EXACTLY what he saw.
