looks like it hit a parking spot concrete stop. notice how the paint is chipped on the very bottom of the fascia. its also right where the fascia brace is located. push that in and the fascia follows.
straighten the brace and the fascia will pop back out, but not totally. If that wasn't the case then second opinion was it was kicked.

i'm gonna try to borrow it and bring it back to my brother's garage this week and pull it out. i think its a 2004 or 2005, she just got it HB.. your estimate of between 500-800 bucks is just bout where I figured it would be

as long as it didn't wreck the actual bumper underneath then im sure fixing the plastic will be easy.

as to what caused it, i doubt it was the snow because i've literally been beating the crap out of my winter car ramming snowbanks for fun and ive never gotten any damage.. as for a concrete piling in a parking space, you would think that would leave some nasty scratches... from what she tells me, there's no real visible marks at all. the stuff at the bottom is probably dirt cuz she hasnt washed the damn thing in a month

ill take some better pics after i get ahold of it. if i can manage to pull that out she might end up being more then a friend :rofl

Of course, if you don't manage to pull it out, you may end up with a child support payment:D

Looks plastic with probably styrofoam underneath. Either push it back out, or if you are worried bout looks, go to a junkyard and find a replacement. I definitely wouldn't pay a mechanic to fix that at their rates unless it has done motor damage.
