Yes, they point down and are a sign of an abnormal buck, in my opinion. Same with a lot of the B&C records. I do not agree with rewarding abnormalities. There is an ideal rack, and that is what the score should be based on. Again, in my opinion.

I dont think the deer these guys are hunting are "Dog Sized" Maybe black tail or south Florida deer but these?
