The democrats doing what they do best...

Cheating.

Read this story to update yourself on the latest Governor's race in Washington State.  Reminder Bush/Gore debacle in 2000? Well, its playing out right now at the Govenor level in our state.  Complete joke!

If you don't have a long attention span, here is the gist of it, especially in bold text:

Quote
Something similar has been going on in Washington State. The Republican candidate for Governor, Dino Rossi, held a lead of a few thousand votes near the end of the counting of the state’s almost two million absentee ballots (70% of Washington’s votes are cast this way).  Then, in heavily Democratic King County, officials “discovered” 10,000 additional absentee ballots they had not originally included in the number remaining to be counted.  In addition, a Judge ordered the County to allow Democratic Party officials to obtain the names and addresses of 929 people whose ballots were classified as provisional because of mismatched or missing signatures, so as to facilitate the inclusion of these votes. This resulted in a  rather unorthodox invasion of privacy:  Democratic officials contacted these 929 individuals to ask whom they had voted for in the Governor’s race. If they answered Gregoire, they were then shuttled to the county office to clear up their signature problem. This vote-mining technique added a net 400 votes for Gregoire. The 10,000 extra King County ballots added another 2,000 net votes for Gregoire. As a result of this final Gregoire surge from King County, Rossi’s lead was cut to a scant 261 votes, of about 2.9 million cast.

http://www.americanthinker.com/articles.php?article_id=4108

So, refering to the bold text, if the voter contacted voted for Rossi, the democrats did NOT shuttle their ballot to the county office to have it counted. They claim "every vote counts!" but they failed to mention as long as that vote was for their candidate.

I can't believe ANYONE supports lying cheating bastards like the Democratic party.

Read the updates at the bottom of the page to see what has transpired over the last 48 hours..."Oh, we found another 700 votes!"

Quote
King County officials have "discovered" yet another stash of "lost" votes in a warehouse. No chain of custody, of course. It couldn't be used as evidence in court if the police produced something of similarly uncertain provenance. And the courts have authorized only a recount of existing votes, not a re-canvass.

It doesn't bother that every vote is not counted, unless it is for YOUR candidate?  You might find yourself right at home in the Ukraine, but I think the majority of us here already knew that. ;)

Sounds to me like you are the one that does'nt want votes to count. This is no worse than the gerymandering the Republicans have done in Texas or the garbage they pulled in Florida in 2000.

RPMs answer:  "you guys did it first so that makes it right"  IE "I don't want ever vote counted"

So by means of Precedent you do not want every vote counted?

Sounds to me like they are trying to count ballots that were cast. Ooops, they are in a Democratic stronghold. Better not count them!

Ah.. but who started the Texas gerrymandering?

Computer driven gerrymandering denies voter will

Quote
...The reason is that sophisticated computer redistricting programs in the 1990's made it possible to pack most Republican voters into less than half of all legislative districts. By segregating Republican voters behind a Computer Curtain, potential Republican gains were extremely limited...

...Republicans were cheated by a process known as "packing". Likely Republican voters are packed into districts behind the Computer Curtain. Here's how this works: Say there is a county that is evenly divided between Democrats and Republicans that has four State Representative districts. You would expect two districts would be held by Democrats and two by Republicans. In Texas, because of the Computer Curtain, you would be wrong and the correct answer would be three Democrats and one Republican.

How do Democrats manufacture a two seat majority in an evenly divided County? They do this by packing as many Republicans as possible into one of the four districts. It is easy to determine which precincts have the most Republican voters or which blocks have the most primary voters. It is very easy to create one legislative district which casts 65% of its votes for Republicans. They then create three more legislative districts each of which historically have cast 55% of its votes for Democrats....

I guess when what "goes around, comes around" it's just not fair!! right?

:rofl

As soon I saw the word 'discovered' in quotes, I knew that I was reading something slanted and useless.

Why not post something from the story from an actual newspaper instead of some piece of garbage right wing blog site?  That is, if you know what a newspaper is.

Republicans State Party Chairman Chris Vance calls those ballots "very suspicious." The party is seeking a temporary restraining order to stop elections workers from taking the newly discovered ballots out of their outer envelopes, which bear the voter's signature.

Vance said removing the envelopes would make it far more difficult to determine where the ballots came from, whether they were stored correctly and why they were not counted previously.

Huennekens said Friday the county will not separate any ballots from their security envelopes until the lawsuit is decided. In the meantime, county workers are looking for 723 paper records to match the voter signatures on the ballots. They had found more than 300 by Friday, Huennekens said.

I'll give you ONE GUESS who those "300 matched voter signatures" voted for..you only get one guess though.  50/50 shot, give it a try ;)

So basicly, you are mad because the Republicans are not putting enough effort into the recount?

Oh, I don't recall a computer calling Special Sessions until it got it's way.
