Attention "Tree Top Flyers"

New squad forming.......do you love to "bring it" as in troops supplies etc? Or are you just tired of flying twenty minutes to the fight and getting your rear handed to you in the first thirty seconds, either because like me you are old and slow, or you just haven't mastered ACM? Then perhaps you might be interested in joining up with ===Air Margaritaville=== . No uniforms ..no rules..we just haul the mail, the troops, the supplies, and occasionally the bombs, and plan to have fun doing it. All that is required is a "license to chill" and a loose attitude. If and when they are provided we will be the first squadron to hop into seaplanes.......until then the ride of choice will be the beautiful C47 goony bird. First one to sign up gets to be Exec. After that we might need a morale guy, tequila guy........er that's the same thing huh? Any way pick your title grab your shorts, T shirts and flip flops and come along......No website........leave a message here or email me and we will get our lattitude and our attitude adjusted and have some fun. BTW we fly for the knights.

Interesting idea and I'm sure you'll be a benefit to your country.  I know it'd be great to have the HQ warning blazing and while I'm scrambling a G10 look over my shoulder and see a formation of goons taking off beside me LOL.  Forget having dar back before the bombers RTB, we'd have it back before they can turn for home!

I doubt the new guys remember him tho. I haven't seen him around for quite a long time. :(

Interesting idea.  Something along the lines of the "Burma Road" supply lines in China?  Are you planning just haulers and bombers, or are you planning an escort element as well?

Its a good idea, but probally gona turn out like LTARS.

Like I said this one is real loose and just for fun and getting the job done. Probably closer to Mel Gibson and Robert Downey Jr. in Air America than the Burma Road. However it ends up is AOK.

I'm all for just having fun.  That's why I enjoy the supply runs.  I'm terrible in a fighter!:)

Speaking of...  And in reply to an earlier question...

Fighter support would be great if we could organize that.

wow this is a nice idea. I'm currently co of a squad. but if i wasnt i would love to fly escort for ya. of course if you were on my countries side... otherwise...  keep a look out

Being a CO of a one man squad as well, I figure I will hook up with you and we can call it joint squad ops.  even tho it'll only make a grand total of 2 of us, the name alone should strike fear into the enemy.


...no Doobs, joint ops doesn't mean we'll be dropping reefers all over the place!   ;)

Merry Christmas to all and to answer a few..........well we fly for the knights, and all are welcome to fly with us as cover or whatever. Joint ops sounds good to me......actually Air Margaritaville is up to a grand total of 2 so we are growing by leaps and well little steps.........have a great holiday and I will see everyone after Christmas.
