I did. In fact, I got three opinions from internists and two from urologists before proceeding. They all agreed that, given my condition, less foreskin would lead to a lowered risk of infection. Lower risk of chronic infection, by extension, would lead to less carcinogenic exposure and, yes, less of a risk of penile cancer. The margins may not be great, but they are present, nonetheless.
To put it simply, in deference to you, when stuff festers there for a long time and you have no ability to clean it--as the case is with many people suffering from phimosis--prolonged problems can and will occur at an elevated rate.
Now, who do I believe, five successful, time-proven physicians or some guy who doesn't know the difference between 'then' and 'than', and still cannot seem to successfully contract 'you' and 'are' into a single word.
