Having a good time hangin out with some friends minding our own business. Decide to a little carve boarding. Run into some ice heads at a hill we spot who start tossing huge rocks infront, and directly at us while we are carving down a hill at 25-30 mph. Ohh well I can deal with that, move the rocks and start over. Even though we could have gotten seriously hurt, I over looked it.

Then they start rushing us and saying they want to fight. We pack our things quickly as two of them started running at us full speed. They were built a little bigger than us, so I figured they could be taken if it came to that. They get close to us and start pushing. Then hit my friend in the face. I quickly retalliated. Well out of defense we dropped the 2 that came at us, their buds saw what we did, about 6 more came down from their cars. We left the scene as quick as possible.

How do you deal with these guys? WTF! Now im worried they know what my car looks like and such. I feel calling the police will only cause more drama. I think for now we handled the situation best, but what about the future. Makes me a little worried.

Any feed back and what I should have done, and what to do for the future?

Don't listen to whatever Lazs is going to reply, especially if it involves firearms. You kicked their buts, t'was the thing to do... it'll happen again, don't worry too much about it.

Lemme guess, you are a Howlie (sp?) and you intruded on a "locals" beach. I was in the service with a guy from Hawaii and heard many tales of exactly what you described. He said on "Howlie Day" gangs roam about and beat the crap out of anyone that isn't polynesian. Seems the "grown here or flown here" discrimination is quite common and accepted culture.

you don't have to shoot em... that would be up to them.

When we were kids we used to put down our rabbit hunting guns to fight... and I don't know about you guys but I was kinda scared to fight older bigger ikids... when it was all over we were friends.

On the other hand...I have damn near got my bellybutton kicked while having a gun in my pocket..

Nothing says "Welcome" better than a straight look in their eyes and a loud "HaaaaaaaR" as the light glisttens off your straight razor.

You did what you had to do and you got the job done ... thankfully you didn't get hurt.

and what to do for the future?

Don't go back to that hill again and if you ever run into those guys again, avoid confrontation at all costs.

"Today" is not like it was back when I was growing up. Back then you either got a good bellybutton whoopin' or ya gave one ... and that was the end of it ... for the most part. Retaliation would again be decided by the "fist".

Now if you open up a can of whoop ass, you must constantly be aware of the "drive by" or some other more violent act that far surpasses another round of "bare knuckle" dancing if the first round didn't convince them.
