« on: January 04, 2005, 07:51:14 PM »
where's ANY middle eastern country on this list?????  I think instead of complaining about stingy US donatations why hasnt the UN complained about stingy oil rich country's donations?

Lada care to comment on Iran's lack of donations?

EDIT: this is a day old and new news does in fact happen.

... missions were to be met by the commitment of alerted swarms of fighters, composed of Me 109's and Fw 190's, that were strategically based to protect industrial installations. The inferior capabilities of these fighters against the Mosquitoes made this a hopeless and uneconomical effort. 1.JD KTB

I'd like to know that also. Considering that isn't at least one of the countries that was devastated primarily Muslim?

The vast majority of them probably have no idea there even WAS a tsunami... they are the most technologically backward culture on the planet after all.  Probably take a while for word of mouth to get to em.

LOL

To ask about who is giving what and making it a religon issue? Make it a Geographic issue instead. Wheres the money from the states of Africa or South America?

Mr Powell made it really clear that "this will show the world that we are able to help, even though they are Muslims".*not exactly quoted*

Sometimes you USA-people suprise me. You really look down at people because of their religon?
Sounds to me that the Iraq war must really have been a crusade after all.

I will not defend Iran, Saudi Arabia, Kuwite or any other countries not on the list. But add a couple of others as well, South Africa, Israel, Belgium, Luxemburg, Holland? And Italy, Denmark and Germany????? ......Whats the matter with you guys? Id be ashamed to be citizen in theese "stingy" countries,,,,really.

Then again, I do not think the list Gunslinger posted, is very accurate (as it is missing Belgium, Holland, Luxemburg, But I bet you thought thoose to be muslim countries, right?)

They probably think Allah was smiting the infidels on the beachs and the residents deserved what they got.
