I have got to say this even though I know it will piss alot of you off but here goes.

Good God people what a bunch of ninny's we gave more than you did neener neener!!! now come on how silly is that.

And do any of us really have any clue how much any country has TRULY given?  Both the government and private sector.

And dont forget that there are members of this board who are missing loved ones over there and I can just imagine what they must be thinking of there fellow gamers right about now.

And here is another thing how much if any did you personally donate?

It ain't no bodies beez wax people!!!!!
Some of us are having a hard time right after the holidays and some of us ain't.

And I am no fan boy of the Muslims but they are still human freekin beings and something of this magnitude is something that I would hope would draw the world closer together and not farther apart by some jerks comments from the UN.

Ya know do what ya can for these people and if ya cant afford any money then send out a prayer and if ya dont believe in God then at least wish them well and good luck as they need it.

OK I'm done and sorry If I offended anyone but this has gone beyond silly.

Well said Wombatt, don't think you offended anyone here. ~S~!

But when this blatent crap comes from what's supposed to be a representative of the WORLD BODY it erks me to say the least and I wonder were the outrage is at the oil rich countrys.

You guys can jump on the Hate America band wagon all you want.  I saw a list from the AP that was current as of this afternoon and it angered me that there wasnt ONE middle eastern country on there.  I dont even recall seeing an ARAB country.  Somone pointed out a new list and I was greatfull to them.  then there was patron who turns this into a hate America must be a religious crusade bit who said one of the dumbest things I've ever read in this forum.  I can only be so polite.

PS.....Chuck sorry sir I dont feel like arguing but did want to give your reply its just deserve.  Welcome back, hope your DHS confinment wasnt too bad.;)

LOL, sorry, Gunny. Didn't want to bust your chops over this :)
You will have to admit that 15 million is a small amout for us to donate, no? I'm sure if you asked that same gentleman about the world's present donation levels (particularly the US's amount), I'm sure he'd say it was very generous. For the record, 15 million from a nation as wealthy as ours is stingy. We're a big machine. We may start a bit slower out of the starting gate, but once rolling, we're a steamroller :D

edit: DHS confinement?
Keep in mind that criticism of a perceived wrong does not a hater make ;)

WTG for all the nations helping, big and little ones, side to side.

There's a small correction on the table that I want to point:

Italy's contribution (aside from being the country in charge of the coordination of the aids from the EU community), was declared as 70 million Euros in an article today citing the foreign minister, I guess Gunslinger's figure is old.

The guy has a photography business, he's not a terrorist...And he lover airplanes, just like most of us here. Ironically the "offending pictures" that got him in trouble are still on his website.

We aren't sure where Chuck is being detained even as the Government can hold citizens indefinately, without council or without hearing, under provisions of the Homeland Security Act... in fact we aren't sure how many other American citizens have been "detained" for anti-Americanism, but since Nov. 7th many anti war advocates have been arrested.

Hopefully we can get this whole mess straightened out and get Chuck released, but because he's a person of mixed race and looks so...arabic.... he already has two strikes against him.

I don't hate you Neocons, but I blame you for this. Your narrowminded view of what being American means puts the vast majority of real Americans- Americans intrested in truth, justice and liberty for ALL...on the outside fringes of America.

We can only hope that Hillary pulls an upset over McCain in 2008 and she can steer the Good Ship America back into Freedom's waters.

for your sake I'm glad this was a joke :aok

Me too!
Sad part is that all it takes is a suspicion to land someone behind bars to be held without due process, without legal representation, and without a time limit. Some parts of Homeland Security do not make me feel more secure, but more threatened. Unfortunetly.

They can't afford to send aid when they are busy supporting terroist.

Anyone remember the Saudi telathon to raise money for the families of Palestinian suicide bombers
