You mentioned it in another thread... can you give a quick rundown on the poker sites you've tried, which ones you'd recommend and which to avoid?

No, I'm not going to be a retard and spend time remembering or researching what I avoided to justify my post, I'm ALT TAB'd from AH in a Yak right now, but IF you are interested, PartyPoker.com is a riot.

Play Texas Hold Em no limit, and bet the lower money varients. (Fun Money of course) I do the 25 dollar buy in, my wife does something that is like $10,000 a hand, and although I like sitting in and betting her 500,000 stash $9000 at a time when she goes to the bathroom, it's way funner to practice with realistic monetary amounts.

Oh, but I just yelled "what in the hell is the poker game I didn't like with the 3D figures?" to my wife who is a online poker junky, and she said it's truepoker.com.

I've been playing on Paradise Poker for a while... haven't really tried anything else. That's my reason.

pacificpoker.com isnt too bad. Im only using "play" money for now. Its good practice for my saturday night home games. Some of my frineds are playing on sportsinteraction.com for cash. Some of them make $80-$200 a day. I havent tried it yet. Im afraid it will interfere with important stuff in my life. Like AH:D

Your best bet is http://www.partypoker.com. full of fish. It took me about 5 months but I finally made 850.00 and built my AMD 64 system off that site. Another one that is popular but tougher is http://www.pokerstars.com

Playing poker online for playmoney is a joke and a serious waste of time. Texas holdem doesn't work when players have no fear of losing and nothing is at stake.

Every now and then Ill find a group that plays serious.But its few and far between for sure.
