Thats a nice looking bird Hitech.

Do you have any tail or plane buffeting around the stall or do you have the buffet strips?

Nice looking ship Hitech.  This is my dream airplane at this point when I'm starting to figure out I'm not gonna be able to afford the Pilatus PC-12.  I rebuilt a little Luscombe the other year but its a toy and seems a lot smaller than the one I had many years ago.

A friend I spray with also wants to build one but we live about 5 hours apart and haven't figured out labor and custody issues.

The Eggenfellner outfit makes a slick looking power package for RV series aircraft.  http://www.eggenfellneraircraft.com/

Although I'm not normally a big proponent of automotive engines in airplanes it looks pretty good (but a little spendy).

There is a guy in Switzerland who is building an RV8 and has an interesting construction site that's kinda fun to hang out at.  He has elected to use one.

Did you build it?

Casca: Also make sure you check out insurance issues before going with an automitive eng.

I didn't build it, bought it with 120 hours on it.

Straiga: No on stall strips, very slight buffet just pefore departure.
