to explain what he means by that...

I met them both in MA, Nik and Spit vs my Spit V, i managed to shoot them both down, they made a good account for themselves though. They will make fast progress (probably are miles better already) I cant fault them on effort, after i shot them down, i hung about their base and let them up so we could continue the fight (although others interfered :() they dont back up, and actually fight properly.... p.s. anyone else imagine "Dude wheres my car" when you think of these two?

LoL, thx Furball. It was fun when we ran into you in the MA. I was the first one down and I quickly told Mega to be prepared to join me in tower lol:)   But it's stuff like that, that helps us new guys get better. If ya get whooped enough you eventually figure out what to do to avoid it and just like that, you get a little better. Of course, then you just do the counter to it and I'm back to square one:lol Also ran into someone named bovidia today in TA. Not sure if was new or not but he was good lol. Said he saw this on the BBS and wanted to test me and Mega. Just wanted to say to him and was some fun fights, hope I didn't disappoint:D Even though it's Mega's to kill list, if any of you( or anyone who reads this for that matter) on it see me up just give me a holler, I'd love to go to the DA and see how I stack up. I can't promise you it'll be a challange though:)

Tonight, I spent about an hour working with MegaDud in the TA. He flew the SpitV and I intially took an F4U-1. He did fine, although I suspect that he did not expect the F4U-1 to stall fight that well. His biggest problem was getting into accelerated stalls and snap-spinning into the ground. Once he stopped jerking the stick, that ceased for the most part. That's simply the learning curve. An hour of uninterrupted furballing can really be helpful in finding out what you are doing wrong. I took up a D3a dive bomber and we worked some more. This was a fun fight because it started on the deck and eventually worked its way up to 10k!When was the last time you even saw a Val at 10k, much less furballed with one up there? It was fun, and I hope beneficial for MegaDud.

As it is now, he's at least as good as the average MA player. Give him a few months and his determination and willingness to fight anybody will result in him being a very good stick. Ghosth has nothing but praise for his attitude and his ability to learn quickly.

He's a very pleasant fellow, always trying to improve. Mark my words, give both Duds a few tours and they will be a very tough fight.

My regards,

WTG MegaDud! Keep up the good work and always try some new things! Remember, if you fight and die you'll learn, if you run and die you won't...  I'm very pleased to hear you're one of the few who'll buy into the former! Can't wait to find you in the MA!
