Yep, mostly mausers here(Czech,Turk,Yugo,German variants), didnt feel like getting the rest of the collection out.  The last 2 you are correct M/N, the short is an M38 and the long rifle is a 91/30. I love the M38 one of my favorite milsurps. WOW does it throw a flame.

Just 2 left. An M1 and a Lee Enfield SMLE No1 Mk3.

I used to have alot more Enfields, but the kid came and things change.
My password at work had to contain exactly 8 characters… I chose Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

well, my safe weight is a good 6,5 metric ton and the walls are about 30 cm thick. How do you store your stuff? on the wall?

And thats quite neat Bodhi, deactivated guns are destroyed guns.

My safe only weighs about 800 lbs and is bolted to the concrete slab... I keep one out while I am home.  so far they have not gone on any murderous rampages on their own... they seem well behaved.

Yugo Mausers as follows: 3,4,5 from the right M48BO Unissued, M24/47, Yugo Capture K98(Still has some German Markings).

As for the rest of the collection, I only collect long guns. I have a few more mausers(including another Yugo M48), Swiss K31 and Model 1878 Vetterli .41 rimfire, Enfield (Identical to Goaly's) and a #4 Mk1, a M/N M44, and lots of others that arent WW2 era guns. SKS's including Yugo, Russian, Chinese a Romak WSAR-10(AK-47 Clone).

I have the standard requred shotguns and rifles for use while hunting. None of wich are WW2 era. I do however use the M38 with a MOJO sight system on it for Deer hunting. Not been lucky with it yet :(

Just curious,  - which one would be the best for marksmanship?

BTW, was once travelling in Greenland. An old Inuit offered me a .303 for 120$. I could not take it, since I was on the last flight away, and one needs a permit with the number on it before transporting.
Still thinking about it though.
303 he said or 30-30. Is that WW2 or the more new Nato round.

Brand unknown, as well as year.
It was very interesting to carry out the flight trials at Rechlin with the Spitfire and the Hurricane. Both types are very simple to fly compared to our aircraft, and childishly easy to take-off and land. (Werner Mölders)

angus... I don't think you should have a gun.

but.. the 303 was not nato it was/is a horrible rimmed rifle round.  The rim causes problems and no other modern round uses it except the 30 30 which is itself very old... 19th century but still used today.

303 enfields are the least accurate.   308 probly the most... tie for first with the m1 garrand and K98 and O3 springfield.
