the 1a was lighter and more nimble than the merlin powered mustangs.  It was very fast at low alts (below about 12k) and could chase down or get away from 190's on the deck.

Rather Vague when ya say 190s, what type? A3's - A4's i would think. Ah *** dont matter LUFT Suck #### anyways, better find something else to compare to so you get the "correct" specs :D

Yup and look at em -
1) Spit 1 - Hanger queen apart from scenarios.
2) Spit 5 - Best spit in the game.
3) Spit 9 - Be nice with a Merlin 66, as it stands it's a mongrel version of different Spits (fuel tanks etc).
4) Spit 14 - Ridiculously overperked!!!!!!!!

WHAT in the name of everything holly AH do we need a B29 in AH for??

So you can drop tons after tons of bombs on more fields to wreck more fights???

Its bad enough we have lazer guided bombs now that can shut a field down in a single pass.
