dgsbdy,
I have some really basic help pages up at http://www.reddragons.de/aceshigh/tactical.htm
They deal with view setup, joystick setup, joystick and keymapping, and radio setup and useage.  There is also a page on abbreviations, Situation Awareness, and How to avoid the Head On.
Since I won't be flying in the Main Arena much for a couple of months keep checking here for notices of new articles on the site

I think the  "SOS" idea was a good one. Maby for the 2 week trial?

According kill/death ration, check XII Legion   3.7547 is not that bad, is not it?   (Well, honestly I just hacked the HTC page, that is it  .

Yeah, I help novicies by advices and have them joined in my spit, but much less often than I would like. Many of them symply do not join even when you propose it, they are eager to fight from the first minute.

And yes, game is more complicated for novices, heard several comments about it in the MA.

What I find interesting is  comments from other flight sims enthusiasts that try out AH for less than a week, then go back to their old stomping grounds, make a post saying "FM is porked, too mushy, etc. etc.", usually means their egos will not allow them to understand and learn a more difficult FM.

I on the other hand, fly HTH in Warbirds, and find their FM (after playing this game so long) very arcadish, hell, my 4 year old plays relatively well on the realistic FM in WB's.  He can easily land the plane in WB's.  He's trying in AH, but is kinda sloppy on the approach.
