I know from a bit of reading that the Russians weren't too keen on publicising lend/lease aircraft so I have only seen scattered reports on numbers and active squadrons...

Can anyone shed some light on the numbers shipped, numbers of squads equipped, and squad-plane lifetime (i.e. how long did XXX squad fly Hurri B's before switching to La7s or whatever)

I know these planes for sure made it to Russia in substantial numbers:

Spit Vs, Spit IXs, P47(don't know version), P39, P40, Hurri Bs, A20s

Looking for books or websites--anything with the information consolidated for my short attention span

The only info I have is of fighters received under lend-lease by the Soviets:

P-39 ====== 5707
Hurricane = 2952
P-63 ====== 2400
P-40 ====== 2397
Spitfire == 1331
P-47 ====== 195

Panzzer, funny site actually (I come from the academic world). Really highlights the difficulty in researching the whole Lend/Lease program with Russia.
