I'll be the first to say Bush isn't even close to being my favorite president. I dont even particularly like him.
Some of his policies I agree with. some I dont. Same as it was with Clinton.
But he's far from stupid. And just because he is a poor public speaker does not make it so.

Among other things
Managed to get elected governor of Texas.
Managed to get elected to the highest elected office in the land. Twice
Managed to get into an unpopular war and still get re elected
in spite of all the Hollyweird celebrities and world opinion.

by comparison what have you done besides network yourself into a position to be able to conduct an unscientific informal poll on the message board of an online game?

Bush wins hands down.

man, these evasion tactics are really funny. its a good question and you know it. but hey, im not here to toot my own horn. no, i didnt ride daddies coat tails and get the support of all of the money available under god or have all of the best advisors. (though i have served as president in many lesser capacities mind you...i wont brag on them, they are insignificant...true observation)

the next question should be. if GWB wasnt GHWB's son, do you think that he would have ever held high office?

my answer? no.
